The Greco-Roman Museum

The museum which was founded in 1892 houses about 40,000 artifacts that date back from 200 B.C. to 700 A.D. Most of the artifacts are very special pieces mixing Pharaonic and Greco-Roman arts. It has a fascinating record of a civilization in the process of change as religions combined and society evolved. The unique collections of this museum belongs to many cultures like the Ancient Egyptian, Hellenistic, Greek, and Romans.
